I’m not against a Jack Grealish loan however it is sheer incompetence that we didn’t have a backup ready in case the MGW deal didn’t happen. In football it’s unpredictable, even if you’re confident you have to be ready for the worst case scenario. A few weeks back when the deal was halted, there were numerous no.10s out there who were on the market. Because we wasted 3 weeks doing nothing, now we have to rely on an emergency backup solution in Jack Grealish. Johan Lange is a good scouter for young talents, no doubt but he shouldn’t be anywhere near of a job like technical director of a big club.

We just did something no serial winner has done in 41 years Euro and 17 years domestic Would you swap it for 5th ? Would you swap trophy next season for 6th ? Disgraceful season in the PL yes….. 41 years terrible in European comps and 17 years terrible in domestic cups Bar a few finals and Semi’s… Champions league run and final under Poch… utterly amazing… he was sacked 3 months into the season…. See the pattern?? We just get momentum and success finally and we sack the winner… that’s not ruthless that utterly ridiculous Won the league twice in 143 years Every time we have won a major trophy since our last UEFA triumph in 1984 we have finished outside the top 8 We are at the start of something… not the end… A rookie midfielder played 30 games as a CB in the hardest league in the world Our best two CB’s played 33% of the games… that’s 2/3 of the season without them…. We finished 5th last season when we sacked off the cups early and we lost our best ever striker the day before the season kicked off… So yeah, sack the guy, make him the another one gone under the ownership, at least hire someone better…..
