New paper published looking at plant-herbivore interactions between gopher tortoise herbivory and understory plants in longleaf pine forests. We found that excluding gopher tortoise disturbance caused plant species diversity and richness to decrease.

Still not over this past mating season for spotted salamanders, Canada might have some of the densest salamander breeding ponds I’ve ever seen #Ambystoma
