@NandiniVenkate3 Protein consumption is over rated… especially the grams per day per body weight nonsense…. South Indian Vegetarians who are teetotallers live fairly long with a good quality of life with just moderate daily exercise

Protein is the latest fad. My grandfather died at the age of 103. No Protein supplements. Only proper south Indian food. Same quantity every day. He used to have half a spoon methi seeds soaked in water the previous night, with a spoonful of curd, first thing in the morning. Idli, dosa, sambar, sundal, Pesarattu has enough Protein for healthy living. #Protein

Never seen such unanimous criticism against a celebrity. Tanikella Bharani faced massive backlash and negativity over his “bhajana” style post praising Narendra Modi.

Is there an asylum for people with challenged taste buds? Alphonso is an incredibly over rated mango. Banganapalli is magical. Especially the huge ones you get in Telangana and Andhra towards the end of May. They mango you see in the 🥭 emoji isn't a shitty Alphonso. It's a Banganapalli. The phrase "juicy juicy mangoes" sure as hell didn't come from those puny Alphonso mangoes.
Preetam Rao@Preetam_M_Rao

Whoever says Banganapalli is better than Alphonso is either straight up lying or has no taste. Alphonso's richness and taste are unmatched. The best of all. The king of all mangoes. I said what I said!

Once upon a time before the multiplex boom and OTT, Hyderabad had some great single screen theaters, that were iconic in their own right. Many of them have closed down due to various reasons. Thread on some of them. Sangeet, Secunderabad- The go to destination for Hollywood flicks, and it showed the best ones. If a movie was released in Sangeet, you could vouch for it's quality. Also was the first theater in twin cities to get DTS, and Optical Stereo Sound. It shut down in 2008, due to renovation work, and has not opened later. It was a truly iconic place, very posh, excellent seating, and sound system. Another good theater for Hollywood movies was Surya 70/35 mm in Abids, showed some really good movies, but closed down quite long time back. Skyline/Sterling in Basheerbagh was another good theater for Hollywood flicks, a major landmark in that area. Again they showed some pretty good movies, and Basic Instinct ran close to a year in Sterling. Anand on S.D.Road in Secunderabad, was another go to, usually for Bollywood movies, but they also showed some good English ones, remember watching Lord of the Rings here. Odeon near RTC X roads, a complex of 3 theaters- 70mm, 35 mm and Mini Odeon, showed the latest Telugu movies, had a great sound system. One of Chiranjeevi's favorite theaters. I believe it's now a multiplex. Maheshwari-Parameshwari, the original multiplex in Hyderabad, with escalators, rich lavish look, popular site for movie shoots, was a tourist attraction by itself. It's now converted into an Inox Multiplex. If you were a lover of old Hindi movies, there were a host of theaters in Hyderabad- Zamrud in Abids, Lata near Nampally, Dilshad, Navarang, Vikrant near Jambagh, Royal near Koti, all of which have closed down. Some other popular single screens near RTC X roads that have shut down are Subash, Tirumala. I guess only Sandhya, Sudarshan, Devi are around. Lakdikapool had Shaam, Amravati both closed down. There was another one Meera now its Sensation Theater. Deepak, Venkatesa, Srinivasa in Narayanaguda popular for Telugu movies are also shut down now. Also there was Kishore in Narayanaguda for Hollywood flicks. Kumar in Kacheguda was popular for Hollywood movies, but now it just runs some B-Grade stuff. Santosh/Sapna for Bollywood is still around, and Ramakrishna theaters owned by NTR family is now a multiplex. Another theater Tarakarama though is no longer there. Secunderabad had a whole lot of well known single screen theaters Nataraj, Manju, Manohar all shut down. This is not an exhaustive list, there are many other such single screens closed down in Hyderabad/Secunderabad or closing down. Lot of memories associated with them.

37 years of Gitanjali. Released during May, the movie was not just a success, it was a phenomenon of it's time. A milestone in Nag's career. It was a typical Boy Meets Girl story only here both of em are having a terminal disease. It was Mani Ratnam's narration that made all the difference, way he etched out the relationship between the two, the growing love, it was more sensitive, subtle. Mani was already popular in Telugu land with dubbed versions of Mouna Raagam, Nayagan, Agni Natchatram( Gharshana) all Proving to be as big a success as their Tamil original. This was his first and only direct movie in Telugu. And his taking was something never seen before in Telugu cinema. The picturization of the songs was mind blowing. Heroine's intro song Jallantha Kavintha was so beautifully shot, almost on same level as Julie Andrews intro in Sound of Music. Or the epic level picturization of Oh Priya Priya. Or Oh Papa Laali with it's dreamy, misty landscape. Mani created a kind of dream world on the screen with rainy, misty landscapes, lush green hills. Ooty never looked so beautiful on screen. PC Sreeram's camera work was outstanding. And Ilayaraja what can be said, Maestro creates magic with one of his best albums ever. Had this cassette at home used to play it non stop. The BGM was equally great. Gitanjali was the kinda movie whose appeal cut across all boundaries . Youth, families, middle aged, elders just about everyone loved it. It dominated conversations, "Have you seen Gitanjali" was the question that invariably popped up. 1989 would be Nag's year, this and Shiva forever changed Telugu cinema in many ways.

@levie FDEs are needed initially in mapping workflows ans building structures for agents, but thats not sustainable consulting, as the process will be automated quickly. Controls and management of agents is a massive, sustainable opportunity but even that will be automated.

@Samsung @SKhynix Excessive focus on ARR/MRR distracted investors away from companies building real, hard moats. Sustainable, hard moats take time to build and are probably volatile in the interim. As singularity sets in, hardware, security and cryptographic open networks seem the winning moats.

High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) comes with high capacity bus on the same package and critical for AI inference. #HBM supply is very tight and prices shooting up. If we can move less data/context per AI query, savings will be huge. Thats what we are building at @RubixChain #SKHynix
KC@KCRubix

@ai Well analyzed. Memory and HBM are the key bottlenecks in AI, not the compute. CIM will partially solve the prob, but real gains have to come from the amount of context/data moved between memory and GPU/CPU for query, delivered by SW. Context graphs/sparse attention. @RubixChain

Date and time: 1963, October 3 at Hyderabad Speaker: Dr RamManohar Lohia What he said: It is clear that there should be no room for Muslim politics; Muslims also need to break into small groups like Hindus do. But reality is that Muslims always remain one, vote en masse and in a common block. Sometimes they form Ittehad, then that Itehahad becomes Razakar and then again becomes Ittehaad Musalmin. They all move in a one common group and it is not good for politics. The end outcome of political game played by Muslims will be that one day Hindus will also unite as one. And when it happens, no one will be able to complain against that. Don’t complain @ShekharGupta as Nehru weaponised Gandhi Vadh to implement that captive voting block machine while dividing Hindus into castes. His daughter and family continued it, now Hindus are no longer ready to buy it so this new shigoofa of reinventing the wheel - ain’t happening as @narendramodi ji and @AmitShah ji have woken up Hindus from their slumber sleep of decades . Bengal has answered with near total Hindu consolidation- that was Bengal saying ENOUGH and what Bengal does today, India does tomorrow is something that scares the hell out of folks like SG!

I understand the frustration but let's try and understand what these protocols actually exist for, and what happens when they don't. I know this might sting, but bear with me please. The PM, any PM of any country, moves under a security protocol that assumes the worst case at all times. They're planning for the day someone tries to assassinate the head of government in your city. India has lost two Prime Ministers to assassination in living memory. So, every road closure, every sterilisation, every choke point exists because of what happened in 1985 or 1992. Now let's imagine the alternative. The PM moves through Bangalore tomorrow without restrictions. He sits in regular traffic. Anyone with a basic understanding of his route can position themselves anywhere along a 30 km stretch with a clean line of sight. A single drone with a payload, a single sniper on a balcony, a single vehicle ramming the convoy at a signal. India has active threats from at least four organised groups that have attempted attacks on senior politicians in the last decade. A single security incident at a PM event triggers a national security review, which triggers tighter protocols across every state, which means every CM visit, every governor visit, every foreign delegation now operates under double-restriction. One bad day in Bangalore leads to a year of worse traffic across every Indian metro. Also, heads of state of other countries watch how India protects its leadership. If India can't move its PM safely, foreign leaders stop visiting, foreign investors get nervous about political stability, and India's diplomatic standing takes a hit. A four-hour closure on a Sunday morning inconveniences maybe 200,000 commuters by an average of 30 minutes. Total cost in productivity is real but bounded. The cost of a successful attack on a sitting PM is incalculable. Markets crash. Currency falls. The next government takes six months to stabilise. The disruption isn't even comparable. I am sure nobody likes this, including SPG, including the cops working 18-hour shifts. I am sure Modi Ji himself who would rather not have his every move planned by twelve people. But we need to tolerate it because the alternative is worse. Yes we need wider arterial roads, parallel routes, faster metro, scheduling discipline. Until then, the four hours of inconvenience is the cheapest insurance policy for what is at stake.
Sumukh Rao@RaoSumukh

PM is coming to BLR tomorrow, and roads are already blocked throughout the city. Traffic is insane. If you're a VIP, behave like one and land at the venue via a chopper. If you want to behave like a common man, commute like one. Inconveniencing others is utterly stupid.
