He's in the same boat as Travis Kelce for me. Would it be the "smart move" to have traded him a year or two ago, or to not keep him on the payroll at the age of 36? Probably. Do I care? No, I do not. I'll savor every moment I get to watch either of them represent Kansas City.

I've gone back and forth on this over the years, but I'm firmly in the camp that I'm glad they never moved Salvador Perez. What a privilege it's been to watch him play his whole career here. He's a slam-dunk top-three player in club history.
