@rocket2guns @JarredEagley Wait a second.. in the 2nd vid at the 7ish second mark...
Was that the shadow of a moon zipping across the atmosphere of Saturn?

@Truthful_ast I believe blackrack is about to start work on engine plumes again so we will see
English

@rocket2guns Will the engine plume ever be able to bounce off of parts and the ground? It’d be really cool to be able to make our own aerospikes and plume deflectors
English

@rocket2guns Any possibility of having the game auto update? I'd love to keep checking the updates but its getting tedious to keep track of uninstalling and installing new version.

Latest version of Kitten Space Agency just deployed with new shadow system, fully working with ground clutter. Download for free at ksa.ahwoo.com

We built a studio, we made a game, and I'm really proud of both. Before we close the doors at Midsummer Studios I'd like to share a glimpse of Burbank, the game we poured our hearts into.
It's like "Life Sims + The Truman Show," but it's more than that. I believe people are storytellers, and I want them to share whatever stories and characters they can dream up. Burbank let's you do that.
We have moments playing this game where characters come alive in a way we've never experienced. And for an old game developer like me that's special.
What you're about to see is definitely pre-alpha. But this game was a dream of mine, our team made it come true, so watch and dream with us.
English

@SolomonJake I did a panel with you at PAX many years ago and you had fantastic contributions. An incredible talent. So sorry it ended this way. I am glad you are sharing though, as people don't realize how painful projects ending is, and how difficult creating is.

It had been too long since I had a really frank and honest chat to @BigfryTV and @fps_crash about the state of gaming and my place in it.

@antonioetayo Consumers think that it’s great for indies. But that’s just because one or two are breakout hits. The vast majority of studios are underwater. The mid market has it worst, because they’re expensive bets without the ability to negotiate with valve etc in bulk
English

@rocket2guns This seems like the opposite of whats happening
Indies are having breakout hits more and more often. The market has an abundant offer of neverending games
What makes you think the way you do? Can you share some numbers?
English

@antonioetayo The recent layoffs at a number of peer studios to my own, combined with discussions with other CEOs of similar studios (some of whom have replied/like the tweets). This video from Chet summarizes some of the problem: youtu.be/6Wu9Hfyol6Y?si…

i have to work but I really want to be playing @foxholegame instead. #freerocket2guns

@Erdayastronaut @Ahwoo_Official @rocketwerkz Yep great idea. Our plan is to include, for long term, at least an earth-moon-sun configuration. With hope it can be used by content creators, space agencies, and educators for this kind of thing.
English

Dear devs of Kitten Space Agency, I have a feature request! I know there'll be some kind of scale feature for difficulty, but I'd LOVE a full earth scale system so it's easy to do sims of real missions and real dV equivalents and such! 🙏 @Ahwoo_Official / @rocketwerkz
English

@elainTahra @Steam It’s not a tag in the genre or sub genre system. There’s no way for developers to assign in that system. See the screenshots I posted. The tag you highlighted is a different system, that developers can’t access
English

@rocket2guns @Steam Seems even though on the front page they will refer to "Survival" as a genre/category, it gets rendered down to just a tag in reality. Can developers choose their own tags or is that purely something that is defined by users? Such an oversight on steams end if devs have no say.
