Goldman Sachs on how AI is making your life more expensive: "We see three key ways in which AI is boosting consumer prices. First, strong demand for AI infrastructure has raised the price of some key electronics inputs, which has increased computer accessories prices and will likely boost smartphone and computer prices in coming months. Second, the addition of new AI features to existing software has likely put some upward pressure on software prices over the last couple of years. Third, higher electricity demand to power data centers is increasing electricity prices in some US regions, and we expect it to continue boosting inflation over the next couple of years."

@rywalker Several economists see a near-term recession risk. Investors should be cautious—6–9 months of contraction could pressure companies like OpenAI and Anthropic and may bankrupt them, which may explain the constant push to stay relevant.

Anthropic is hunting enterprise workflows to productize. The contrarian bet: a probabilistic system will never match an agent built by someone who deeply understands how their specific company works.

@rywalker They’re acting out of desperation—pushing fear, claiming everything else is dead, and positioning themselves as the only solution. Instead of buying into the noise, people should think critically, avoid the hype, and make clear, informed decisions.

AI hallucinations are still too unreliable for critical fields like finance and law. Companies should limit reliance on external APIs and build in-house systems for better control and security. #AI #AIGovernance #TechRisk

@madhavchanchani GSI’s n SIs have nurtured their customers for years. They know their environment and built trust over time. Both Anthropic n OpenaI wont be able to win trust given how their products hallucinate. They may get a few but it wont work - mark this as golden words.

Both OpenAI and Anthropic are going after the enterprise tech services market with new multi-billion dollar JVs. Besides capital, my guess is they are being structured as JVs cause they will have a different comp/ESOP structure and lower margin profile. Not great news for Indian IT services.

Anthropic and OpenAI initially partnered with GSIs and SIs to bring their models into enterprises. Now, as competition intensifies, they’re both competing with and sidelining those same partners. How do you trust them ? Walled garden is a worry, go Opensource #GSI #SI #AI

All the SaaS are delivering solid results. Pins taking shorts for a ride again. Wall street sold all of them in fear unnecessarily. Their mirage of making money with top AI names will soon disappear. Go long in SaaS, distribution and profitability matters the most! #AI #SaaS

Both Anthropic and OpenAI have new initiatives to help enterprises deploy AI agents within their organizations. This is a trend that’s early but going to get very big fast. As agents enter knowledge work beyond coding, there is very real work to upgrade IT systems, get agents the context they need, modernize the workflows to work with agents, figure out the human-agent relationship in the workflow, drive adoption and do change management, and much more. While AI models have an incredible amount of capability packed into them, there’s no shortcut to getting that intelligence applied to a business process in a stable way. This is creating tons of opportunities across the market for new jobs and firms, and the labs are equally recognizing the criticality here.

@jimcramer If a business is profitable and still growing, why sell it over AI fears? SaaS demand is strong—why swap it for unprofitable AI bets? Isn’t that your recommendation? Why dual mindset ??

anthropic is going after the $300B consulting sector with a new $1.5B consulting arm that seeks to put claude into every mid-size company this is exactly what deloitte, mckinsey, accenture do... but anthropic is cutting them out. ruthless but imo the economics make sense: > anthropic will send applied AI engineers to private equity portfolio companies to create custom-claude solutions... > its a genius model: blackstone alone owns 250+ companies generating $300B in rev, imagine if claude doubles that and takes a fee why? anthropic's biggest revenue earner is enterprise, their CFO: "Enterprise demand for Claude is significantly outpacing any single delivery model." > anthropic teamed up with blackstone, goldman sachs and hellman & friedman, each putting up $300M (ZERO consulting firms in the cap table lol) > private equity become anthropic's distribution model for enterprise. sound familiar...? > thats because openai announced a similar venture 5 months ago but the explicit difference is anthropic is a major stakeholder in this new venture brutal for consultants tbh

@mcuban AI can speed up development, but without clear problem identification, it’s just noise. Enterprise adoption remains limited due to risk and uncertainty, while many AI firms continue burning cash. A tragic end to all this is inevitable without ROI.

I’m coming to the conclusion that the biggest challenge for Enterprise AI, and AI in general , as of now, is that it’s still impossible to make sure that everyone gets the same answer to the same question, every time. Which is a great response to the doomers. AI doesn’t know the consequences of its output. Judgement and the ability to challenge AI output is becoming increasingly necessary, and valuable. Which makes domain knowledge more valuable by the second. Am I wrong ?

@zhenthebuilder Most people still use search engines, not chatbots. Only a small, more technical group—around 3–5%, engages in continuous prompting. Why you have to keep prompting when you can get better output by several other ways ??

Spending too much time in SF makes you forget how early AI still is Last week in Houston I asked Uber drivers what app they wished existed then had my agent build rough apps for them on my phone before dropoff while people in SF debate how agents will reshape the software industry some of these drivers had never used ChatGPT before a few genuinely thought the apps already existed and I was joking when I said I just made them we still have a long way to go before everyone can fully participate in this shift
