On ferries, I agree with @AnasSarwar - if this was the M8, there would be no limit to efforts to fix the problem. The treatment of islanders who rely on SNP-(mis)managed national infrastructure is appalling. If @donaldlabour can help fix it, he's got my vote. Today's grief:

Another shambles at Euro 2024 as German authorities facilitate a dangerous crush of fans at Cologne HBF, with alarming crowd control measures. Left city center at 5:15pm (more than 3.5 hours before kickoff!) and haven't even gotten on a train yet. Crushing, no trains; awful.
