non-football watcher here Are Messi & Ronaldo the equivalent to Lebron & Kobe? Meaning: they're both obvious all-time greats & there was a genuine conversation once upon a time about who was better between the two, but one (Messi/Bron) CLEARLY surpassed the other and is widely considered the absolute greatest to ever do it (despite both achieving greatness & having a LOT of success in their careers) but the other player has a cult-like fanbase that won't let it ago even though it kinda stopped being a real conversation years ago?

@Geeb1872 I find this the most frustrating and infuriating thing in football. OK, the attacker shouldn't fall for it, but 9/10 there's never contact (and I don't think there is here), and then the defending player dives and grabs the ball. It should be penalised for what it is: cheating.
