Most founders and builders I know spend their day in a CLI. Some have moved to Cursor or other IDEs. But do we really think non-technical people will ever use those tools? Probably not. Huge consumer markets ahead. But what’s their ideal interface?

even with opus 4.5, planning, and reviewing all code, i find that it’s still brittle, hard to extend, and difficult to grasp entire systems. it reminds me of a movie set; real enough to get the job done, but shallow and hollow, lacking the depth and emersion of the real world
