BREAKING: The Supreme Court just rejected a lawsuit challenging the regulation of the abortion pill mifepristone! This ruling preserves our recent win here in NC defending mifepristone. We must prevail in November to protect women's reproductive freedoms.

The Supreme Court's decision to reject extremist attempts to further restrict medication abortion affirms what abortion funds and providers have long known—that mifepristone is safe, effective, and this case should have never seen the light of day in the first place.

The Supreme Court’s decision, based on a technical definition of standing, is a short term victory for reproductive freedom. The opinion does not prevent extreme Republicans from passing a law to ban mifepristone, nor does it prevent a future Court challenge that has standing.

The Supreme Court ruled that a group of anti-abortion doctors does not have any legal basis to challenge access to mifepristone, a drug used in medication abortion. As a result, access to mifepristone will not change. @GeoffRBennett speaks to @johnyangtv for more.

Women are still in danger even with the Supreme Court’s decision on mifepristone — did not have “legal standing” #KamalaHarris This is not a cause for celebration. This ruling is not going to change the fact that Trump’s allies have a plan that if all else fails, to eliminate medication abortion through executive action. So we must remain clear-eyed about the threats to reproductive freedom in America, and we must remain vigilant.

Today is a victory for people who think we should all make our own medical decisions with our doctors. But we know MAGA extremists won't rest until their national abortion ban becomes the law of the land. The fight for freedom and health care continues. cnn.com/2024/06/13/pol…

Today’s ruling by the Supreme Court upholding full access to safe, effective mifepristone is the right decision for millions of women nationwide.   But it must not be forgotten that it is because of Donald Trump & this Court that women today have less freedom than their mothers.

I’m very happy the supreme court just unanimously rejected republicans’ attempt to ban the women’s health drug mifepristone. Reminder that 147 republicans in Congress begged the court to ban the drug and told women to go to hell. Here are their names.

The U.S. Supreme Court's decision to maintain access to medication abortion is a major victory for reproductive rights across our nation.   I fought to protect access to mifepristone in this case because it's your body, and it should always be your choice.

The Supreme Court just decided not to impose restrictions on mifepristone. This is a sigh of relief for abortion access nationwide — but this case should never have gone as far as it did.

We know exactly where Trump stands on abortion: he overturned Roe, he's responsible for the abortion bans sweeping America, and if he had his way, mifepristone access would have been decimated today. @mintimm with @AnaCabrera
