Our veterans served this country with honor. They should be able to access the reproductive health care they need — including abortion care, without political interference. No one who served our nation should be forced to surrender their bodily autonomy.

Reproductive rights are under attack: Mifepristone today, IVF tomorrow, & contraception after. This isn't hypothetical. We're seeing the anti-abortion playbook unfold in real time. There's a pro-choice majority in the U.S. Using the law, our voices, & our votes–we have to win.

Abortion must remain safe, legal, and accessible. That’s why I joined every Senate Democrat in calling on the Supreme Court to preserve the right to receive mifepristone by mail. This case isn’t over–we’ll continue to fight attacks on reproductive health and freedom.

Even after engineering an unnecessary review of mifepristone and pressuring Trump to remove the head of the FDA, anti-abortion extremists are clearly struggling with the SCOTUS decision yesterday. Let’s keep this going and vote for candidates that will protect access in November.

The Supreme Court did the bare minimum here, but Justice Thomas’ dissent misuses a law written in *1873* to justify banning mifepristone. Women couldn’t vote, let alone control their own bodies. Seriously?

SCOTUS did the bare minimum today: stopped a radical court from banning mail-order mifepristone in every state. But 3 extremist judges came within inches of overruling 25 years of FDA science. That's the world Dobbs built—and why America's pro-choice majority must speak up.

From this lawsuit to the many other attacks moving through the courts right now, the goal remains the same: restricting reproductive freedom however they can.

Remember, SCOTUS is doing the bare minimum and this case should have never made it this far. We know anti-abortion extremists won’t stop with this case, and neither can we.

For now, access to mifepristone remains as it was before the Fifth Circuit tried to impose unnecessary in-person dispensing requirements—meaning patients can still access medication abortion by mail and through pharmacies while the case moves back through the lower courts.

Anti-abortion extremists will keep using every tool available to push care out of reach in every state. This is exactly why the midterm elections are critical. We need leaders at every level of government to stop these attacks.

Louisiana’s baseless case should not have gone to our nation’s highest court to begin with. It is a relief that access to mifepristone remains for now, but our work doesn’t end here. The Supreme Court must follow the law and uphold telehealth access to mifepristone.
