Also, this is problematic because it implicates the U.S. Government in funding the alleged “biolabs”. Why would the government declassify something that could put a target on our back from Vladimir Putin?

Notice how they are focusing on Ukraine in this announcement… It’s alleged the U.S. funded biolabs in 30+ countries but for some reason chose to emphasize the ones in Ukraine. The U.S. government is actively trying to bolster Putin’s propaganda narrative for invading Ukraine.
