@rossgregory9 Honestly can’t answer that one directly. If the football is better and there are signs of hope then who knows. Given a 15% rise in the season ticket cost then needs to be better and more entertaining than this season.

November 8th. 10 games into new season. NUFC head into an international break. What position in the league do they have to be for fans to be happy with Eddie Howe and progress?

@rossgregory9 All hypothetical isn’t it. Depends on what happens in the summer and how many points we are off the top 4 and how we are playing. This season has set us back years.

A squad needing an overhaul and a manager who takes ages to integrate new signings is a really toxic combination going into next season , especially with the lack of momentum at the end of this season. This doesn’t end well #NUFC

Correction (been a long day) only West Ham, Burnley & Wolves lost more PL games than Eddie Howe's NUFC this Premier League season. All were relegated.

Thank you to the travelling support today , clearly a very disappointing result at the the end of an underwhelming season, despite some great moments in the champions league and other domestic cups we have not lived up to where we should and need to be. @rossgregory9 I’ve been watching them for 50 years which I think qualifies me to under football, and all I see is a side that starts well but then can’t adapt to changes made by the opposition and can’t last for 90 mins. Theme all season

Anyone who thinks that there hasn’t been anything different about NUFC over the last few games doesn’t fully understand football. Can clearly see signs of what is being worked on. Problems around having right players to pull it off remains tho which will need addressed in summer

Big summer for NUFC’s transfer strategy. Interested to see the tactical profile of player they bring in - particularly in an attacking sense. The setup of the team the last 2-3 games gives a hint of the direction of travel and how Eddie Howe is looking to evolve

People keep talking about awful team selection but what do they mean? Woltemade starting? Kept losing the ball and never looks like scoring Burn at left back? He was fine. Hall at RB? Was also fine, but could have done better for Forest goal. Newcastle were the better side, missed chances, hit the crossbar. I won’t look back on this season fondly. It’s made this place mental again for a start #nufc

@CraigHope_DM Hall was injured and on the wrong side. Didn’t put his right foot out. A right sided defender - Trippier - blocks that. Nobody will ask Eddie why he didn’t bring him on though.

NUFC did enough to win during much more purposeful 20 mins after arrival of Ramsey & Barnes But same failings… a tired Bruno doesn’t go with Anderson & Hall has to do more to block shot When fans ask why Hall hasn’t been starting of late, it’s because of key moments like that
