It is time for the poor and the working class to organise themselves and rise against the salesman president, Cyril Ramaphosa, who is selling South Africa’s state assets to BlackRock and white businesses in our country. Meanwhile, the majority of our people, the African population, remain on the receiving end of the economy and are not benefiting from it. President Cyril Ramaphosa is using public office to secure business deals through his partners while in government. He is enriching himself and his family while ignoring the majority of South Africans, who are losing jobs. He has no clear plan to grow the economy or reduce unemployment. The longer the salesman President Cyril Ramaphosa remains in power, the more damage our country will suffer in the coming years. His policies are designed to grow the wealth of the white capitalist class and his own family at the expense of ordinary South Africans. South Africans must rise up and say no to selling our country to the highest bidder. We must demand that 90% of South Africa’s workforce consists of South Africans, with only 10% allocated to non-South Africans. We need strict laws against non-compliant businesses, a general preference for local labour, strengthened state capacity to compete with private businesses on behalf of the majority, and massive investment in science, technology, and innovation. Salesman President Cyril Ramaphosa is weakening state institutions by appointing weak leaders. He is building protection for himself and his interests after he leaves office. Therefore, the poor and the working class must organise mass actions across the country to oppose his sell-out agenda and his efforts to sell our country to the highest bidder.
