It’s been a month since I posted on X. I was genuinely tired of the constant race... posting just to keep up, staring at my laptop screen every single day for the past year. Somewhere along the way, it stopped being passion and turned into FOMO. I forgot how to live in the present. So I took a short trip to Andaman. This time, I didn’t carry my laptop because I knew I’d find a corner to work. I made sure I wouldn’t think about my product or roadmap. There were moments where I zoned out and slipped back into work mode, but I snapped myself out of it every single time. Andaman felt like a reminder. The sun sets early, life slows down, and people just exist...peacefully. No rush, no noise, no competition. Just the sound of waves, warm winds, quiet roads, and the realization that life can be beautiful when you stop running. Coming back, I feel lighter, calmer, and more energised. I’m fully back and focused.. but without the pressure, without the chaos. This break was so uncalled for, but so necessary. Leaving a few clicks from Andaman that are close to my heart 🌊✨

@joelteply @csaba_kissi True. Even if you're shipping one feature, it should feel engaging. For me, a poor UI itself is an immediate turn-off. Put in some basic effort at least.

@roman94_ @csaba_kissi First impressions are SUPER important. It should come down to general quality and personal restraint in limiting features, but not trash like we are so often directed to produce. This is why many apps have 100 total downloads and sometimes fewer. Make it have immediate appeal

Learn to finish. Two coders start a side project: One keeps perfecting. One ships version 1 and improves later. Guess whose project people actually use.

@csaba_kissi Releasing one strong feature is wise, but we should ensure it's good enough to provide users with a positive experience using it.

@roman94_ The MVP doesn't mean the product is full of bugs. It actually means that you have implemented just the core features and nothing else. So I prefer to use beta testers before I ship the product to the public.
