@Blue_Footy @TyCSports That will be great, but are they going to maintain those 5 SDs who sees every 17 year old as a 35 year old? .Also. MacFarlene should remain as assistant coach together with Thiago Silva to prepare for a smooth transition next time

If the insults reigned on the Venerable Reverend Minister was just a slip, then we shudder to imagine what the ACTUAL INSULTS would contain 😒🤔🙃 Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah on the reaction by the Free Zones boss Mary Awusi on the Chairman of the Church of Pentecost and calls for forgiveness. #GraphicOnline

@Tanaka_Footy They should bring Maresca back and give him the players he needs and a free hand to work. If they can't get him back, they should bring Filipe Luis or Alonzo

Chelsea need to go for a manager that the players will respect. Fabregas is an established player. A player many of the Chelsea squad probably grew up watching. Someone who understands the club. Really, if the sporting directors want to go down the "project" route still, then they need to go for a respected player (Xavi, Fabregas). I am a big fan of Farioli, but I do not know if the dressing room will take him seriously.

Let Rosenior be a lesson to not jump ship mid season. Especially when you are part of a promising project. Screams that you do not trust your craft enough to get the job at a later time, when it’s more suitable.

With all due disrespect, Bawumia is not your guy, your guys are in power and your main guy is sitting at JH whilst his GUYS molest and oppress innocent citizens expressing their views. We take comfort and inspiration from National anthem *"Help us to resist oppressors rule with all our WILL AND MIGHT FOREVER MORE"*. Freedom will not die.

My man, Dr. Bawumia recently said Ghana's democracy is under attack because a party communicator had been 'arrested' for making irresponsible comments. While l do not agree with the arrests, we must ensure that democratic rights must not be used as a shield for misinformation or character attacks. Sadly sometimes those who seek comfort from a democracy forget to ask themselves if they have been fair to others. For 5 years, Dr. Bawumia's party, the NPP precociously planned and executed the disenfranchisement of my SALL people. None in the leadership of the NPP offered an apology or even asked that we be given a single street light or broomstick. We were orphaned in a democracy we thought we were part of. They still haven't apologised after having been bludgeoned in the last elections. I have not forgiven them. I will not until they apologise profusely and properly. Democracy under attack, really? My guy, really?

When Brian A decided to purchase SSNIT hotels which are still being mismanaged, the Journalists, religious leaders and CSOs were up in arms. All those morbid journalists are a disgrace to a Nation, the CSOs have become a blot on the conscience of the nation. The religious leaders have betrayed their faith, disappointed their countrymen as they dine on the dinner table set with $78m as bribes.

What would have caused national outrage yesterday is now being shamelessly defended today. Today, Ibrahim Mahama is taking over Azumah, Sankofa, and Damang Mines simply because his brother is the President. The same CSOs, loudmouth journalists, and so-called neutrals who once screamed 'conflict of interest' when Bryan Acheampong wanted to acquire the SSNIT hostels have suddenly gone quiet. Why? Because they don’t want to lose their share of the 78 million cedis set aside to keep them quiet. When Dr Bryan Acheampong made a move on SSNIT hostels, they called it state capture and nearly set the country on fire. But today, Ghana’s mines are being handed over, and suddenly it’s supporting local industry. The NDC and John Mahama should know that the next NPP government under the leadership of Dr Bawumia will hold them accountable for every single action they’ve taken.

🚨🚨BREAKING: Liam Rosenior’s position as Chelsea head coach is currently viewed as being secure even if the club miss out on qualifying for the Champions League. The only scenario in which Chelsea's stance over Liam Rosenior could change would be if they were to implode over the final weeks of the season, but there is no expectation of that happening. While Chelsea’s aim is to qualify for the Champions League, Rosenior’s future does not depend on it and he would not be held solely responsible for missing out, having only taken over in January. Berla Mundi insulted Asantes’ intelligence and argued that they only vote for NPP based on tribal allegiance, not policy. She did all that and more just to be a member of the peace council…? Now she cannot talk politics anymore, she cannot advocate against Galamsey. Such a hypocrite. This government has truly exposed some of you guys. Aban papa aba ampa!

Ghana's president flew to South Korea last week to commission a Nigerian gas ship. Trust me, Pan-African notwithstanding, that is not a regular sight. On the surface: routine economic diplomacy. Bubbling beneath: a truly operatic saga of corporate resilience in a katanomic setting. The vessel is the MT Asharami Ghana, a LPG carrier owned by Nigeria's Sahara Group & NNPC. To get the significance, let’s fly to 2015. Ghana was in the grip of "dumsor" - rolling blackouts. Factories were on life support and Hospitals had become assembly lines of misery. The Mahama government, facing an election and a furious electorate, signed an emergency gas deal with a Nigerian joint venture called WAGL: NNPC plus Sahara Group. The deal: LNG delivered to Tema within a year. Then Ghana opened no letter of credit. Then suddenly signed a competing deal with Quantum that had been furiously paddling under water since 2013 before being supplanted by WAGL. Then took forever to do things that take hours. So, WAGL's sub-contractors started suing for non-payment. In January 2021, a London arbitration tribunal awarded WAGL $68.5 million against Government of Ghana. Another abandoned power project got $170 million. The backer of that project – Trafigura - is also now back in Prestea, chasing LPG. The Ghanaian taxpayer got the bills. This is what katanomics looks like in practice: politics signs the deals, policy cannot honour them, and the legal bill goes to citizens who had no vote in any of it. What happened next is the bigger lesson, though. WAGL didn't fume and sulk. They didn't cower. They quietly rebranded as WAGL Energy, switched from LNG - a product that requires policy to sync with politics (katanomics says No Way!) - to LPG, a product you sell directly to households and businesses. No need to bet on rational national policy. Now, they have IFC backing. And a fleet. And a ship called Ghana. Five years after winning an arbitration against Ghana, they have the President singing their praises in a Korean shipyard. That’s how the game works: adaptive strategy. In a katanomic environment, where policy and politics don't speak to each other, the survival game has clear rules: make modular bets, cut your losses, preserve the relationships that matter, and be mighty patient. Dumsor in 2015. Disputes in 2021. Lawyers feeding on the fat. Russian oligarchs come to town and vanished. A Chinese-built terminal sees no gas. And, finally, in 2026, a Nigerian ship called Ghana gets its Presidential encomiums. The katanomic market doesn't reward the visionary. It rewards those patient enough to outlast it!
