@O2 I am writing to urgently seek clarification regarding a refund that was due to be credited to my bank account. The refund was initiated on May 9, 2026, and I was informed that the funds would arrive within 3-5 business days. As of today, the money has still not been returned to my account. My experience with your customer service channels thus far has been incredibly frustrating. The primary reason I chose to migrate to another carrier was due to poor service, and this current delay only confirms that I made the right decision. Given the lack of flexibility and the difficulties I have faced, I can no longer recommend your services to others. If you feel that you have it in your heart to give me back my refund, please reach out. If not, have a meal at Wagamamas on me!

@UberEats I had an extremely unpleasant experience with my Uber Eats order last night. I described it on your app immediately but I’ve still not got any response. Pretty appalling customer care, especially for someone who’s been a loyal Uber One customer. Do better!

@KenyaAirways - we have been waiting for our bags for 2 days - everyday we get told due to payload they couldn’t come - with everything happening in the airline world today, you would think the ‘Pride of Africa’ would try to capitalise and deliver luggage on time!

Very interesting times ahead ! I can forsee a rain of Tax Audit ! Also the “substance over form”interpretation of Section 15 of the Income Tax Act will be quite interesting to see during those anticipated audit/reviews especially in an economy that remains largely informal. But remember, there’s a remedy against unfair administration of expense deductibility: the Reverse Invoicing (Buyer-Initiated Invoicing) mechanism. Let the Tax Environment evolve!

Very important update from the Kenya Revenue Authority. The Authority says that effective Jan 1st, 2026, it will be validating income & expenses declared in both individual & non-individual returns. What does this mean? 1. Do you have an eTIMS invoice backing all the relevant expenses you intend to claim as you file for 2025? If you don't, it is in your best interest to start getting this in order at the earliest 2. Does the income you declare & tax you pay align with the Withholding Tax certificates captured in your iTax ledger? Keep in mind the 5.0% Withholding Tax is not a final tax, many of us forget this Like many are won't to say, "we are about to see very bad things" While at it, see quoted tweet from last week, it should help in contextualisation.
