Socialism requires the government to set the price on everything. Every toothbrush, dust pan and toothpick on the shelf. Capitalism naturally regulates prices depending on what people are willing to pay. Could you imagine the government trying to set a price on everything on Walmart shelves? These people are beyond ignorant.

Capitalism is far more social than socialism ever was. Capitalism is built on voluntary interaction. Every transaction requires agreement, cooperation, and mutual benefit. You don’t get anything unless you offer value to someone else. It’s constant, peaceful coordination between individuals. Socialism replaces that with coercion. It doesn’t ask, it mandates. It doesn’t rely on agreement, it relies on enforcement. The ‘social’ part isn’t people working together, it’s people being forced into the same arrangement whether they agree or not. So one system runs on consent and cooperation. The other runs on compliance and control. That’s what real anti social behavior looks like.

When socialists say capitalism isn’t voluntary, they’re usually conflating three different things: Capitalism, reality, and their fantasy of socialism. Capitalism is voluntary exchange, you’re free to trade or walk away. Reality is not voluntary, you still have to eat, work, and survive regardless of the system. And their version of socialism assumes those needs can be met without cost or trade. So when they say “capitalism isn’t voluntary,” what they’re really objecting to is reality itself, the fact that survival requires effort. They then project that frustration onto capitalism, while imagining a system where obligations disappear and outcomes are guaranteed. The contradiction is simple: Capitalism doesn’t force you to produce. Reality does. And socialism doesn’t remove that requirement, it just shifts who gets forced to meet it.

The thing about ideologies like feminism is it relies on all the things it now wants to dismantle and destroy. Feminism will constantly criticize the foundation of marriage, and claim gender roles as oppressive, all while it assumes the continuous existence of stable families that raise emotionally healthy humans. It benefits from the security, and sacrifice these institutions and values create all while desiring to erase them. Feminism will constantly emphasize female autonomy and how women should not depend on men, all while relying on overwhelming majority male dominated institutions for protection (police, military, fire departments, emergency services). It expects safety in public and private all while rejecting male authority and male protection. Feminism elevates careers achievements above all else, and claims it to be the highest form of fulfillment, feminism will claim motherhood is a waste of potential all while it still depends on someone raising children well. Feminism rejects traditional moral frameworks all while it still expects people to show fairness, respect, equality and dignity. Feminism wants all the fruits of traditionalism without any of the institutions that keep these same frameworks intact. Feminism wants a cake, and it wants to eat it too.
