Politicians are elected to serve the public, not live like royalty on taxpayers’ money. There’s nothing wrong if an person spends their own hard-earned money on luxury, but leaders using public money for unnecessary extravagance while citizens struggle with inflation, taxes, poor infrastructure and failing systems will obviously invite criticism.

Everyday you wake up to people from Himachal, Uttarakhand, Punjab and Haryana fighting on X. But honestly, the people I am connected with from these states are completely different, they understand each other’s issues and talk solutions, not hate . Issues do happen everywhere and not everyone is right all the time, but that should not become a reason to build constant hate narratives against each other. There will always be some elements that distort the image of others too. Creating hate is easy, it takes minutes. Building understanding and unity takes effort. Maybe the reason our common issues get ignored so often is because we still lack the collective unity that many other states have.

Aapko patrakaar kisne bana diya? Ek geography naam ka subject hota hai jisme continents aur regions bhi padhaye jaate hain. India South Asia region mein aata hai. Aur bina basic facts check kiye ek student ko “Pakistani” bana diya. This is probably the lowest Indian journalism can stoop to — apne news channel band karke school mein wapis admission le lo, so next time at least basic facts toh sahi ho. Nafrati tiddo ki tarah bas agenda lekar aa jaate ho bina soch samajh ke.

अभी जानकारी मिली है कि वेदांत नाम का स्टूडेंट वास्तव में एक छात्र है। हालांकि उसके ट्वीट की लोकेशन भारत से बाहर की क्यों दिखाई जा रही है इसकी पर्याय जानकारी अभी भी नहीं मिली है। लेकिन @vineetJindal19 जी मेरे मित्र हैं और विश्वसनीय व्यक्ति हैं इसलिए उनकी जानकारी गलत नहीं होगी। सही जानकारी मिलते ही मै अपना पुराना ट्वीट डिलीट कर रहा हूं और वेदांत और उनके परिवार के बारे में जो गलत जानकारी फैलाई गई उसके लिए मै उनसे माफी भी मांगता हूं। लेकिन अभी भी उम्मीद करता हूं कि अकाउंट के लोकेशन की सही जानकारी मिले तो मामला और ज्यादा स्पष्ट होगा।

A journalist making such reckless statements without even checking basic facts perfectly explains why Indian media credibility is collapsing. India is part of South Asia and Twitter/X often shows region, subcontinent, or country based on settings/device data. But instead of verifying facts, you chose to fuel mob mentality against a student already under stress. No wonder India stands at 157th in the World Press Freedom Index when sensationalism, ignorance, and outrage matter more than journalism and fact-checking. NEET scams and exam controversies were already destroying students mentally, and now media people are traumatizing kids further just for engagement.Absolutely pathetic

BJP, while in Opposition during UPA, didn’t just tweet about fuel hikes - they were on streets doing protests, TV debates and even got celebrities to speak against rising prices.Congress today mostly reacts through social media while the ground presence looks weak. Punjab is the biggest example - every party is fighting aggressively even for MC elections 2026, but Congress is hardly visible.. They seriously need to level up their opposition politics.
