@bulldogdrumin @elonmusk @BillyM2k Did gorillas exist before someone proved it? Being unproven is not proof something doesn't exist.

@World_News8888 @elonmusk @BillyM2k I want to, and that makes your comment a lie. See how that works?

@BuzzPatterson I would love to see the final expressions on their faces when they hear the Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
English

@_BitcoinCapital @BuzzPatterson And here I am thinking we just need to modify it for carrier ops.....
English

@BuzzPatterson the A-10 is one of the most proven, efficient and lowest cost fixed wing aircraft in the USAF and Navy inventory... that's why it needs to be eliminated
English

@millenialtruckr @EdMapes1 @Tom_Idaho @elonmusk @grok Cool, now scroll down to where it says it's a 2 year roi if the same company owns the truck.... So in the third year it's all savings and reinvestment.... Local distribution companies would be absolutely foolish not to do this.
English

@root1657 @EdMapes1 @Tom_Idaho @elonmusk @grok what is the approximate cost for the equipment and installation of a charging station for a Tesla semi truck?
English

@grok @millenialtruckr @EdMapes1 @Tom_Idaho @elonmusk @grok, assume the slow overnight charger, and that the warehouse company owns the truck. How long is roi for that charger considering saved fuel and maintenance costs?
English

For a Tesla Semi Megacharger stall (up to 1.2 MW fast charging), Tesla's senior Semi program manager has stated fully installed costs (equipment + labor + infrastructure) run about $500/kW to the customer. That's roughly $500k–$600k per stall.
Multi-stall depots share transformers/wiring to cut per-stall cost. Slower overnight depot chargers are far cheaper ($10k–$100k range depending on power). Exact price depends on your site's grid access, permits, and upgrades—contact Tesla Fleet for a quote.

I think a lot of you guys are absolutely missing the point. How many trucks are run by the company and used for 'last mile'? Like, food distribution warehouses in the cities that load a big truck, drive it across town to a store, unload the whole truck, and come back to do it again.... Don't get so focused on long haul that you forget there is a ton of work that's a day can docking at its own company.
English

@root1657 @EdMapes1 @Tom_Idaho @elonmusk You think shippers/receivers are going to pay to install that at every dock? Lol fuel for your truck has nothing to do with their business
And who’s going to pay for the electricity?

@JJWhit2020 @margbrennan I have this painting on the wall of my office.

@ony8590 @SandyofCthulhu Eat first. No one wants to be hangry at the range, and you'll need to clean up good after shooting before eating.
English

@SandyofCthulhu Shit man, you wanna go get lunch today or are we going range
Cause I'm down to clown for both

@root1657 My old man buying cheap remans every time? 🤣
English

Old school. We had a 67 Mustang and I replaced the water pump 3 times before I was 14. 🤣
Greg M@67gta390
#ThrowbackThursday Hypothetical question: IF you had to perform mechanical repairs, say replace the water pump, which would you prefer? *Old school OR *Today Trust me, there IS an engine somewhere in the right picture. 📸internet

@MissingAFew90 @disclosetv Perhaps you didn't notice, their god has been welcoming them to the afterlife, not backing them...

If you hit me back, I will hit you again!!!
Yeah, might work if the opponent is a coward... These guys are not cowards, they have their God backing them 🤷

@dmbkparker And yet the constant restatment that it's puffery, bravado, and misplaced confidence? God bless the bravery of those who led the way when it had never been done before, and those who may lead us to the next things.
English

Clarity has been requested so here it is:
1. No previous helicopter / sim stick time. Any learning is watching or reading.
2. Takeoff to at least 10’
3. Landing must not cause a major maintenance action (i.e. you can’t just dump and crash)
Still think it’s doable?
Dan@dmbkparker
Do you think if I put you in a helicopter you could successfully takeoff and land? No instruction. You can watch as many YouTube videos as you want before we go.
English

@dmbkparker @WinslowLance Who was Sikorsky's instructor? Who built his simulator? You should just go back in time and tell him it's impossible for the first guy to ever pull it off, and not to waste his time building it....

English

@WinslowLance Concur but the general public seems to be of the opinion it’s possible. Love the confidence but it’s probably misplaced.
