This is an odd thing that you don’t find in America, the notion that you must be white to be British. I’ve seen some prominent British commentators, whom I thought were extremely intelligent, suggest that if your heritage isn’t white you should be treated as second-class. It’s a really dumb premise not rooted in any logic or science. In the United States we don’t separate ethnicity and nationalism. Sure, we have a debate about racism, but even the racists don’t suggest that other races aren’t American. Maybe it’s because we fought a war to end slavery and ensure that black and brown people have the same rights as white people. The question is, how are we such a young country already learned in the pitfalls of ethno-nationalism while some in ancient and storied Britain still entertain such a barbaric and neanderthalic principle?

Well its difficult to watch. I care about both Ukrainians and Rusians. Ukrainian people rock its Zelensky who I hate and perhaps western news is at fault also. Many people opened their eyes after the partial ceasefire then the attempted assassination attempt on Putin. Is there a world where this friendship can be repaired. Also Ukraine must NEVER become a NATO member nor an EU country (no country should be with the EU but thats a diff story). Western news said he randomly bombed kiev after the partial ceasefire. From day one I stronlgly felt that Ukrainians are being used. These young amazing men on both sides are to young to die. Thats just my opinion. Not trying to offend either side. There are laws in Russia I think are wacked af. Its just sad.
