What a great cross curriculum approach! STEM skills and sustainability practices were applied in an interdisciplinary approach. Students learn to reduce their food waste and learn how to cook delicious meals! #UoNTeach #educ4750 #SDG12

@rose_emerton This is so important to reduce plastic pollution. Another idea could be to introduce a school vegetable garden, to ease the pressure of packing a full lunch box at home.

Love this idea! Schools could altogether phase out bringing waste to school. Not only does is encourage reducing plastic consumption but also healthy eating. I'm sure parents would get on board if the plastic was returning home. #UoNTeach #educ4750 #SDG12
