Still waiting for @KLM and @airfrance to get my seats for me in 2 days. :A HORROR STORY: I purchased tickets to travel from SFO to Berlin through flying blue 6 weeks ago - they then cancelled my flights for suspicion of fraud without notifying me.

We will see what happens - but as of now, they owe my my points, my flights, my upgrades, and compensation for a wasted weekend and the stress of this whole disaster.

Imagine if I had just gone to the airport with my confirmed flight information in hand, and been told that was all cancelled with 0 notification from @KLM or @AirFranceFR and that they had broken my ability to communicate with them.

@rosnydaniel I worry that even if/when people with money and power experience terrible patient care, they will just find ways to work around the system for themselves and those they are connected to rather than push for system wide change

The ED Boarding crisis is so unbelievably demoralizing. I am burnt out and worse at all of my other duties. The ED is literally the worst place in the hospital for providers and patients and the c-suite @UCSF has done nothing meaningful to help.

I spend every shift apologizing to patients about the horrible care we provide to them even though I have no control over the situation. It is truly crazy making.

We continue to take advantage of the false promise of altruism in medicine when we are really just operating in a capitalist system that values money over patients. Then we gaslight providers into feeling like they need to work harder to solve the problem.
