@portsmouthtoday A shame for us in Portsmouth. Maybe better for everyone else outside of PCC, as HCC not great. But have to wonder if we will retain the good investment in buses, roads and weekly bin collections! What is the future of ‘Portsmouth Buses’ Greater Portsmouth Authority, maybe?

@DonnaJonesMayor as someone who walks down eastern road everyday, it’s scary as pedestrian - bad, and very fast driving. maybe whole road should be 40mph with average speed checks.. and red light cams for sure, lost track of how many times blatantly run red lights when i’m X’ing

@PCC_Help @portsmouthtoday @colasportsmouth Thanks for a reply. I didn’t report this as someone beat me to it on FixMyStreet. But it’s an awful road surface running from the bus gate to city shops north. Particularly very bad outside the Cascades. To avoid the worst of it, you have to keep right and go very slow

@portsmouthtoday @colasportsmouth — Just wondering, is there any update on Charlotte Street? as the road surface is so poor and bumpy - has the potential to damage buses and slow down journeys. It’s so unlike P’mouth to have roads like this? We’re pretty lucky compared to HCC

A cold, wet and windy runout this Tuesday morning. Portsmouth’s yard partially flooded due to the drains being overwhelmed by the sheer amount of water that hit the city. If you were wearing dirty shoes to work, they were most certainly clean by the time you left the yard…

Heres the best bus in Stagecoach’s fleet for sure! 😀 Was probably having too much fun ‘driving’ this…. 😂

@AsdaServiceTeam @asda in Waterlooville, Havant… Went to buy a fruit pot, got to self check out - no barcode to scan. That’s Ok ask for help, she abruptly takes it and throws it in the waste bin. Says can’t sell me it as no nutritional information on it… 1) It’s fruit 2) It still had a QR code to scan. After my look of confusion, she then explains it (didn’t explain prior) and after some awkward silence then says she can get me a new one… no thank you it’s fine . Confused to why we encourage so much waste, such a shame… and now i’m fruitless! Is this policy or a mistake? Food waste is terrible, especially for… fruit.

Doubt it & the brats will roam free trying their luck on another vehicle "for a bit of fun". Might be worth examining cctv (if any) from the Coop St Alb as kids hang around there

Weight loss/Wellness journey. April vs August. 37.3kg down. Using @yazio to track food / nutrition. Controlling myself to mostly 1,900 calories per day and walking like 16,000 steps a day at least. Day 115 now. @huel has been a life saver during this experience as job as a bus driver means lack of decent facilities and fast food always a quick and easy option. No jabs, just a new mindset. 136KG to 99KG. Nearly not classed as Obese!

@portsmouthtoday this crossing on the eastern road, by Portsmouth college… All the cars pass the stop line during congestion, and as a result when you’re walking across on a green man - the cars are still moving towards you can more be done to improve this ? thank you 🙏
