Logical Reason Not to do this? You’ve been an asshole your entire career and are no longer worth the headaches
Trevor Bauer (トレバー・バウアー)@BauerOutage

Hypothetical: You’re the owner of an MLB team. I offer to take $0 salary and sign a minor league contract and go to Low A. If the “he sucks now” crowd is right and I get lit up, you cut me, lose $0 and there’s no risk to the big league club. If the “clubhouse cancer” crowd is right, you see it immediately at Low A and cut me. You lose $0 and there’s no risk to the big league club. If there’s massive negative PR, which we already know there won’t be, you just cut me and move on. The story is dead in a couple days, you lose $0, and there’s no risk to the big league club. But, assuming none of those things happen, which they obviously wouldn’t, if you like what you see, you can promote me to AA and re evaluate me there. Then AAA. Then the big leagues. If I earn it, which you’d be 100% in control of deciding. If you don’t think I’m good enough, you lose $0 and there’s no risk to the big league club. You could take away my “antics”. You could take away my social media. You could ask anything of me. If I don’t comply, you cut me, lose $0, and there’s no risk to the big league club. What logical reason is there to not do this? At worst, you cut me and there’s no risk to the big league club. At best, you get a Cy Young winner for $0 who you know can still pitch and could help the big league team if and when you see fit.

My Dad and I got involved in the horse racing business less than a year ago. We had no connections in the industry, just a love for the game and a dream. Tomorrow our horse Gulfy is running in the Peter Pan Stakes. Feeling so grateful to even have this opportunity.

@rotolady @BauerOutage Without Bauer she’d wouldn’t have her first client and agency. Trevor Bauer earned the highest aav at the time. Any competent agent could’ve got him the highest paid pitching contract at that time.

There’s two types of takes that seem to oddly land along political lines. If you believe the narrative that was mostly manufactured back in 2021 or whenever all that shit was released to the public, but then believe none of the developments since then, idk what to say. You may be dumb. It’s reasonable to understand that he got swept up in the me too movement by someone who had fraudulent intentions on a situation that was neither black nor white. Bauer did not deserve the treatment he got, he earned his contract and they took a lot away from him. It’s a crime that should be prosecuted, not just in civil court. To dismiss it because you want to project some social justice warrior cause on the situation, is plain silly.

@TJStats I could show you 2 minutes of any great pitcher giving up bombs. You're a retard for defending the blacklisting of Bauer - for what? Some insane women made allegations against him? Who even cares? There's no defense for what happened to Bauer. Fuck off, retard.

Governor Abigail Spanberger
Governor Abigail Spanberger@GovernorVA·
More than three million Virginians cast their ballots in Virginia’s redistricting referendum, and the majority of Virginia voters voted to push back against a President who said he is ‘entitled’ to more Republican seats in Congress with a temporary and responsive referendum. They made their voices heard. I am disappointed by the Supreme Court of Virginia’s ruling, but my focus as Governor will be on ensuring that all voters have the information necessary to make their voices heard this November in the midterm elections because in those elections we — the voters — will have the final say.

@rotolady @BauerOutage The league does not care about dv, as shown by multiple athletes who are still playing rn. No gm is going to sit down with Rachel Luba after that ig leaked. Standing by your only name worthy client isn’t noble when you’re tip toeing around getting disbarred (1.8.10)
