@watsoncomedian Absolutely. I work in child protection & I've been so impressed with everything teachers have been doing to keep an eye on vulnerable children & make sure they're safe & looked after throughout the pandemic. The view that they've been sat on their arses doing nowt is disgusting.

This idea that teachers ‘did almost nothing’ - whether it’s for clicks or whatever - is SO insulting and idiotic that I can’t keep to my usual rule of not engaging with insulting and idiotic stuff. Teachers have never stopped working.

My dad used to sing "Carey" every time we were on a beach. I don't think I ever heard the original song until after he died (in '07): "Oh, that's Dad's beach song!" Now it's one of my favourite songs ever.
