Tony Blair wanted us to immediately join this war.

He can’t control his war partner but he wants the countries he’s spent 18 months tariffing and insulting to support his illegal war. And Badenoch and Farage would be doing just that.

Last week Trump said he didn't need Britain's help because he'd already won this war. So we mustn't let him push the UK around now. Any decision on the deployment of our Armed Forces should be made in the UK's national interest and subject to a vote in Parliament.

This Trump tweet is a work of art and needs to be kept for posterity. It turns out that the US has destroyed 100% of Iran’s military capability. Yet, to combat a military with no capability he is left pleading with allies he has regularly insulted to save him in the Gulf.

I think the anti Starmer crowd have got themselves into a pickle. Their hair trigger is set to oppose anything and everything he says. But here he is doing something which most people at heart support, keeping us out of a war in the Middle East. The cognitive dissonance is huge.

As someone pointed out - who like me is not a big fan of Starmer - as far as most of our press is concerned, he can do nothing right, even when he does things right. And yet the same press will praise outright con-men and shysters to the heavens, when it suits their dirty agenda.
