So you mean to tell me that someone down your ancestry line survived being chaıned to other human bodięs for several months in the bottom of a disease-infested ship during the Middle Passage, lost their language, customs and traditions, picked up the English language as best they could while working free of charge from sun up to sun down as they watched babies sold from out of their arms and women rapęd by ruthless sIave owners. Took names with no last names, no birth certificates, no heritage of any kind, braved the Underground Railroad, survived the Civil Wąr to enter into sharecropping... Learned to read and write out of sheer will and determination, faced the burning crosses of the KƘK, everted their eyes at the black bodies swinging from ropes hųng on trees... Fought in World Wąrs as soldiers only to return to America as boys, marched in Birmingham, hosed in Selma, jailed in Wilmington, assassinated in Memphis, segregated in the South, ghettoed in the North, ignored in history books, stereotyped in Hollywood... and in spite of it all, someone in your family line endured every era to make sure you would get here, but you receive one rejection, face one obstacle, lose one friend, get overlooked, and you want to quit? How dare you entertain the very thought of quitting. People, you will never know, survived from generation to generation so you could succeed. Don’t you dare let them down! It is NOT in our DNA to quit!

Video of Ojukwu's bunker, 25 feet underground, looks like. Hidden deep underground, this remarkable structure featured an en-suite with a toilet, a fully functional kitchen, a storage room, a living area, a prison cell, and two escape routes, all carefully designed with proper ventilation.

@neehyeehwah My experience was even more frustrating. After all the struggle, I finally made a profit and requested a withdrawal, but the money never arrived. It honestly broke me mentally. I lost my focus and started hitting Stop Loss (SL) repeatedly, almost as if it was a routine 🤧🤦🏾‍♂️

If Trading hasn’t made you cry or rather weep, I don’t think you’ve started. There was this period I lost my funded account, I sat down on the floor and weeped like a baby. If you saw me, you will think I lost a loved one. But it was just trading oo😅. You know the funny thing? 😅 After crying, I cleaned my eyes and opened trading view to analyze for my other accounts. Yes, that’s how badly I wanted it to work out for me.

A lady's fiancé was brutally killed by a deadly assassin, few days to their wedding. So she was contracted by the assassin's rivals to help bring him down. Her mission was simple: Go into his life & win his trust. Weaken him by making him fall deeply in love with you, for at the touch of love, every man becomes a fool. Assassin or not. This task she succeeded at. She not only won his trust, but also his heart & head. And more importantly, she also blunted his blade. Softened him. For he was the deadliest assassin of his time. And without weakening him, his rivals couldn't take him down. But now there's a problem. In the course of winning his trust, this lady fell madly in love with this assassin. She was cooking, cleaning & washing for him, running errands for him till she forgot her mission & fell madly in love with him. And now, she doesn't want him dead any longer. In her heart, he's replaced the love of her life, the one brutally killed by this assassin. In her defence, she said he made her feel safe. You know when the deadliest assassin is for you, no one can possibly be against you. And now she has to work against those that want him dead. End! Note: The aim of this story is to make you grasp the fickleness of women nature. A woman can hate you today, and fall madly in love with you the next day. The lady you give the world today can fall hopelessly in love with your enemy tomorrow. Having this in mind would make you realise why you shouldn't at any point in time put a woman's interest above yours. Find other lessons in the story!

Assalamu Alaikum and Eid Mubarak to the Muslim Ummah. Alhamdulillah for the fact that we observed the fasting during this holy month of Ramadan and are alive on this blessed day of Eid celebration. What a blessing that the Eid fell on a Jumu'ah. Jumu'ah Mubarak to all. I pray that Al-Hayy (The Ever-Living) may accept our acts of ibadat, fasting, sadaqah, and prayers we observed during the sacred days of Ramadan. Especially our Laylatul Qadr. May we continue to act in the pious manner that we did during Ramadan. May the Almighty God guide us towards goodness, even beyond this month, and keep us steadfast, and increase our faith to live as we did during these days. May the Zakatul Fitr we offered wipe out the sins we committed, knowingly or unknowingly, during Ramadan. I always encourage us to take every opportunity to draw closer to our Creator and to pray for our dear country, Nigeria, and its leaders. I pray that Almighty God continues to bless us, grant us shifa, taqwa, contentment, and peaceful coexistence among millions of Nigerians. For non-Muslims, who have been misled by religious and political leaders into thinking Muslims are their enemies, and that Allah is a different God from the One they worship, I want you to note that Yeshua (Jesus, Isa) was an Aramaic speaker in His lifetime. I am familiar with Aramaic and read in that language. Are you aware that the word for God in Aramaic is Alaha? Please fact-check me. Both Allah and Alaha (SWT) come from the same root word and mean exactly the same thing. Which is why a common greeting Yeshua used in His lifetime was "Shalom Aleichem", used in John 20:21. Shalom Aleichem means precisely the same thing as Salaam Alaykum. They both mean Peace Be Upon You. And on that note, I wish everyone Barka da Sallah! Reno Omokri Ambassador Designate to Mexico. @elnathan_john @Aishasuleiman__ Frederick Douglass said when he was a boy, slaves from his master's plantation used to argue & fight with slaves from neighboring plantations, over which Slave master was wealthier or had the nicest house. Not much has changed since then.

Just a reminder that the NYSC corper reportedly k'lled despite a N10m ransom was most likely a Muslim. He said, and I quote: "For the sake of Allah, please help me. For the sake of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W), please help me. Please help my life." He still wasn't spared cos he identified as a Muslim or gave such impression. If u think these terrorists pick victims based on religious preference, I am sorry for u.

In the last 12 to 24 hours, recent headlines report that: 1. Bandits invaded Digare community, Bauchi State. 2. Bandits ambushed travelling passengers in Kogi State, while shooting the driver. 3. Bandits tortured a captured NYSC member. 4. Bandits invaded and abducted many people in Kogi State near Government Technical College. -Bauchi is a Muslim State, Kogi is partly a Muslim state, and the corper being tortured pleaded in the name of Allah, (For the sake of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W), please help me. Please help my life). Again, this is the holy month of Ramadan; Now tell the public why bandits will be attacking and torturing people at this time, since a lot of you want to link the insecurity crisis to just Islam, instead of just addressing them terrorists that are affecting us all. Kindly explain.

We, as Nigerians, should stop feeling proud when we adorn ourselves with all manner of exorbitantly priced foreign designers. It is not a thing of pride to wear expensive advertisements in the name of designers. What should bring pride is when we start wearing our indigenous, made-in-Nigeria cultural designs everywhere, to the point that foreigners start emulating us in Nigerian fashion. Now, that is something! #RenosNuggets
