I am pleased to see the UK is not involved in these strikes on Iran. They are ill-advised and illegal. We will be hit by the consequences though & need to prepare for chaos in the region, with shipping lanes, oil facilities & military bases (including our own) being attacked.

I am shocked to hear a woman was stabbed in Birmingham in an unprovoked attack. My thoughts are with the victim, her family and friends. I thank the police for their swift action to arrest a suspect. I urge any witnesses to contact West Midlands Police.

They have ▪️increased Quangos not cut them ▪️increased regulations, not cut them ▪️tied us to high EU carbon trading prices ▪️bringing in extra carbon import taxes ▪️increased public sector staff ▪️Increased public sector wages ▪️Low productivity linked to energy costs ▪️Increased net zero subsidies ▪️Building slowest on record ▪️ increased spending on consultants ▪️implemented packaging tax ▪️allowed councils to put up tax. All of the above will continue to increase the cost of living and not bring it down. So … there you go.
