The Beltline needs more benches, bathrooms and water fountains. 🙏

But the chairman of Cox Enterprises/AJC writes an op-ed saying that trains are outdated technology…

@byst I am not against MARTA expansion and bike lines. Disagree on GDOT being unserious. They are investing more and doing more than most states. Their mandate is not transit. If you want to improve the situation, publicly advocate for why it is a good idea without being a troll.

Everybody in college sports is looking for more money. @MattBakerCFB and I looked at one strategy a growing number of schools are employing: Mixed-use entertainment districts. This story is free to read, but these developments cost around $250 million. nytimes.com/athletic/72715…

been radicalizing everyone I’ve met down here in Atlanta to start using public transit and buy a bicycle

youre missing me. my argument is that the best way to preserve our forests is to maximize the density of our existing built up areas. if we continue endless sprawl, it means we'll have to keep clearing our forests indefinitely

@barely_th3re How often does anyone in a midtown apartment visit places like the woods around bouldercrest, Stone Mountain,or panola mountain. Majority minority suburbs are the only stewards of the wooded lands around ATL.

@barely_th3re They did, in fact, say that the current street car would have significant ridership and that it would be a great way to get around downtown. In fairness, you were probably a small child when people were saying that.

We're proud to announce that we've officially surpassed $14.2 billion in private investment around the corridor — helping sustain jobs, support local businesses, transform spaces, and create opportunity for all Atlantans. More on this milestone below. beltline.org/press-release/…
