Border patrol is supposed to question people coming into the country. And the woman being detained was here illegally and was caught with forged documents, including a fraudulent green card, which is a felony. The system isn't broken. It was broken. This is evidence that it is fixed.

Despite being a U.S. citizen, Winooski Superintendent Wilmer Chavarria was detained and questioned for hours with no cause by agents when crossing the border back into America. And now, one of his seven-year-old students has been detained with his mother after visiting family for Thanksgiving.
