Once a patient is moved to the back of the ambulance, they could require further treatment. Student paramedics can replicate this continuation of care and environment as NASC has a full-scale simulation ambulance, where students can ready themselves for real patient contact.

CPR & the use of an AED undoubtedly saves lives in our communities. To become an instructor you must maintain a high skill level, complete a two day course followed by two teaching sessions & a final monitoring session. Thank you to all our dedicated volunteer instructors.

Myself & @ARoss_NASNL_CEO dropped in on Colman Savage who purchased and installed public access AED at his home near Glanmire in Co. Cork He has also registered the AED with @AmbulanceNAS, meaning his machine at T45 XE68 will always be available if required for a cardiac arrest.
