My father side of the family mostly vote for admk alliance every election. My mother side who migrated to Chennai from Mysore many years ago vote for Dmk. I have always voted only for an independent candidate in my constituency. This time I'm planning to change.

I had a high end paid Ashva Credit Card and also a corporate account with IDFC Bank. However as per the rules of the bank they do not differentiate between an individual and the company for which the individual works. Email ID, Mobile number are one and the same. All my company IDs first started to come to my personal ID. After changing all personal mails going to company ID. The service department of IDFC is helpless. Closed my Ashva Credit Card losing around ₹ 6,000 (including points earned). One corporate account closed. Other under progress. I am unable to fathom the approach of the bank.

@tindian4ever Yes sir. You are right. We had to close the personal account of the Finance Head as he was also getting official communications on personal ID linked to Aadhar. Luckily I part own the business with a German partner So no issues.

@rsankaras i am checking whether they violated any privacy laws here. sending information to wrong ids is a violation of privacy.

@basu__dev I had a corporate account and then opted to go for this card. I have 4 cards otherwise.

@rsankaras Avoid applying for this credit card. Sales calls mislead you, then do hard enquiries on your CIBIL without proper clarity. Faulty address verification calls (no reschedule) lead to rejection. Poor process, zero accountability.

Once, I was traveling in a sleeper class train because I couldn't get an AC ticket. A boy around my age came and asked if he could sit since he had a long way to go. I told him yes. He mentioned that he was going to Himachal Pradesh for a job he has at a hotel there. He seemed like a good person. After a while, he took out his towel, laid it on the floor, and slept. I felt bad for him. When he woke up, he told me that he doesn't have a father, and he has two sisters and a mother. He has been working in Himachal since he was 16, saving up money for his sisters' marriages. Then he took out a plastic bag and started eating roti with achar, nothing else. I asked him many times if he needed anything, but he said no. It broke my heart seeing him, and I thought about how millions of such men work and travel in the same way, facing hardships just to take care of their families. Millions of such people. They don't get any respect or attention. They aren't even recognized by society for their sacrifices. Men are great and will always be so.

@connectgurmeet @Barathpsgim No. This is just convenience. Quality of life is breathable air for everyone, drinking water right of the tap for everyone, and being able to get a court judgments in a reasonable time frame. There is a huge difference.

A friend came over last night from US..my family was away Ordered milk n groceries from Blinkit in 10 min Chole bhature for breakfast took 30 min A Househelp came from Pronto & took care of House for just 150 Rs for 1 hour. Then drove to Dehradun in just 2.5 hours. all this done digitally using digital payments.. This is ‘Quality of Life’ he remarked!! Actually we don’t appreciate enough!!
