I got stuck in India from 19th of February, until 6th of April. I got one or more calls from the vendor's call center & regional office (Mumbai), asking me about the status of refund. I'm the one who requested for the refund & I was kept on asked whether the refund was made by the local agent because they couldn't find details at their end. The sheer wastage of human resources (2-3 calls per day, sometimes exceeding 4-5 minutes) by calling the customer for days & without a resolution for a case that is open from last 7 months. I was told, the call center is not aware of what their higher management did on the case, hence they keep on calling the customer for an update. For me, it's not the matter of 10250 INR, instead a hopelessness that slowly swallows me knowing that "India mein bass aise hi hote hain kaam". Thanks team, you WERE extremely "professional" in not managing a simple refund, that is, from the very beginning due to your incapacity to track down a unit that was sent to a wrong address.

2025 July I bought 2 water filters from @EurekaForbes paying in advance for the units and we agreed to pay the installation charges after the job done. One unit was delivered and installed on 3rd or 4th day. The second unit was sent to Tamilnadu and lost/stolen. I've raised minimum 6-7 tickets for refund & their local sales manager shyly requests for me to pay the "installation" changes for the unit that was delivered and installed and "promises" me to refund for the unit that was lost "the moment they find it" This is my 3rd visit to India ever since & I am following up another ticket. So, how do this company work? Every alternative day one Meghna or Sheikh calls me somewhere from Telangana/Andhra and apologizes for the "inconveniences" and promises that my case has been escalated. I love talking to them. They are doing a wonderful job for the salaries they are earning, calling the complainant everyday with a tired voice and reading out some printed material.
