People are asking how we do this! We use @MetaQuestVR 3 headsets. These run a custom data visualization platform written by Envision Center @PurdueRCAC. We are grateful for @NSF who has supported some of this research and development of “mixed reality” to navigate astro data

We’re using a virtual reality platform designed with @MetaQuestVR headsets to explore 3D reconstructions of supernova explosions. We now have a “mixed reality” version.
