The panic and theatrics over this OKC foul nonsense is wild. Look at the stats, it isn't as egregious as people make it out to be. That said, the refs do need to swallow the whistle on some of these (on both sides). It's the playoffs. But OKC is one of, if not THE, smartest teams in the NBA. They know this rhetoric is going to get into the Lakers' heads, and is going to affect their play and strategy. OKC is playing chess, and last time I checked the goal is to just WIN.

You have to understand that this woman is in prison for the rest of her life, and she is obviously a terrible person. There is zero chance that she talks without getting clemency. So what you said above is not what is important here, because this isn't a moral person we're talking about. The bottom line is, do we want the whole truth or not? But probably more importantly, if she gives us the whole truth, will anything be done about it?
What a travesty it would be if we gave her clemency, and she spilled the beans regarding illegal activity by many prominent actors and politicians, and legal action was never pursued. Then she walks. They win.
On the other hand, even if they do pursue legal action, it's one person's word against another essentially. They may be able to pick some things out of the documents that have been released along with her word. But these people have VERY good attorneys. It's quite the conundrum.
