It is like an efficient Personal assistant; one who pays attention, remembers everything, organizes and plans for you, is able to handle multiple tasks together, regulates emotions and is capable of self-monitoring. Now imagine that due to a Neurodegenerative condition, this assistant becomes hopelessly muddled and inefficient. That's Executive dysfunction in a nutshell
