Very sad to hear the terrible news of the passing of Louis Passfield @trainalytics. Louis preceded me at @uniofbrighton (same supervisor) and was a trailblazer in many ways. He will be remembered both for his scientific contributions and his friendly and kind personality.

Congratulations to Silvino, who recently defended his MRes viva investigating PAP effects on punch performance. One of many research students who started their research shortly before the pandemic. Congratulations for getting this over the line in the most challenging of times.

I STARTED A PODCAST! There seems to be a growing appetite (at least in my echo chamber) for knowledge on sport science. However, there is also a lot of BS out there. I hope to address these two points with the launch of my new podcast, "The Physiology of Endurance Running"
