@DXCentral @rvaFM I've been told it originates in Michigan or somewhere in the proximity to the east (Ontario). It's been widely reported here in the midwest. Several DXers say different things which makes finding out where it's from harder.

Hey @DXCentral! Was picking up curious signal on 1620 in my car tonight. Playing 60s/70s oldies and easy listening (Herb Alpert, Neil Diamond, etc.). No IDs, commercials or air breaks. Doesn’t seem to match any known stations in US or Cuba. Any idea what it could’ve been?

Anyone else watching #ALDS on @FS1 on @Sling TV? Was watching in the 5th inning and suddenly the broadcast cut back to the start of the game. Now I’m seeing the first inning, can’t fast forward. Is that just me or…? 🤷🏻‍♂️ // cc: @slinganswers

Pure conjecture here, but WJSR seems like a juicy target for EMF. They could upgrade K-Love from its current home (98.9 WLFV) to WJSR’s stronger signal, then use 98.9 to bring sister Air1 to the #RVA metro.🤷🏻‍♂️ (Also relieves Summit from re-inventing the station every 2 years! 😎)

January 12, and local WJSR still rolling with Christmas music as "Santa 100.9.” Now they are airing multiple bumpers saying Santa’s “gonna stick around a while longer.” Starting to wonder if there’s a wrinkle in their format flip plans…🤔 #FM #RVA // cc: @vartv @radioinsight

Hey @WVTFRADIOIQ, what are these instrumental music beds we’ve been hearing ~ 8:55-9am this week? Eclectic variety, 30-45 seconds each, then abruptly cuts to BBC news in progress. On 89.7 and 92.5 here in RVA, does NOT match your stream... 🤷🏻‍♂️

🚨 Record DX Event 🚨 Strong tropo in Richmond , VA this morning: heard Dire Straits “Sultans of Swing” on 89.9, and then the jingle “89.9, The Wave”. @899TheWave CHNS, Halifax, Nova Scotia. At 861 miles, that’s our furthest log EVER via tropo (previous record: 446 miles) 🎉
