@xGilroyx @FitWealthyU Yes. It does so much more than contribute to weight loss.
English

@FitWealthyU after seeing what its done for my blood work. i’ll probably take it forever. easily staying shredded is just a bonus
English

@fixtheglitchnow @FitWealthyU Agreed. There are so many benefits beyond weight control it makes perfect sense to stay on it, even if you hit your goal weight. Better kidneys, liver, heart, brain, etc..
English

@FitWealthyU The health benefits of long-term use seem entirely positive. Microdosing to keep inflammation down and weight steady is a good thing. The only downside is the cost.
English

@michaelschwab13 RS should have us at the top of the class, but RA keeps us in detention. We need some serious bullpen rework, both middle relief and closers.
English

@HayesHolly2 Vasquez should be the starter. Even if his power isn’t as good, he’s still a solid catcher.
English

@Scopuli @rorynotsorry I understand your point. These drugs allow people to go super low in their calorie intake, resulting in muscle wasting. They can certainly be used irresponsibly.
English

@rorynotsorry The only thing negative about GLP1s are that people who wouldn't diet responsibly are dieting irresponsibly with GLP1s, and then GLP1s get blamed.
English

Started blocking the worst of the anti-GLP1 crowd to clean up my timeline.
If you do not like GLP1s, you are more than welcome in my comments with reasoned arguments:
"I would like their to be more longer term studies, and I am concerned about the metabolic effect of retatrutide on peoples hearts"
Hey, lets have a conversation.
"You are dumb and lazy and fat people should have more dicipline"
will get you blocked.
Life's too short and there are to many smart and decent people on X that I would prefer to engage with.

@OrangeAlert3 @rorynotsorry Once it’s gone you realize how invasive it is.
English

@rorynotsorry I'm trying to find my maintenance dose after losing 40 lb. The return of 'food noise' makes me angry, more so than the thought of gaining weight back.
English

@Metal_Crow The Genie has left the station. Their opinions truly don’t matter.
English

@kennyhaines32 @aubrey_huff He was also known for his fastball, but he had a devastating curveball that complemented the heat perfectly.
English

@rva_rt @aubrey_huff He had the best traditional stats when people cite dominating MLB stats most Ks, 7 no hitters, 12 1 hitters, but wasn’t the most dominant in terms of total pitching wins, ERA, ect. His control wasn’t good and he played for some really bad teams.

@rorynotsorry If risk was only 2%, then 1.5x higher risk means it’s now 3%. Context matters.

I’m willing to wager that this osteoporosis is caused by the weight loss not GLP1s specifically.
“Sudden And Unexpected”@toobaffled
Research presented at the 2026 AAOS meeting indicates that the drug may contribute to osteomalacia, or bone softening, at a rate 1.5 times faster than normal. aaos-annualmeeting-presskit.org/2026/research-…

@kennyhaines32 @aubrey_huff He was really good but not the most dominant pitcher ever. Not even close. Clemens was better with or without the juice. Ryan lasted a long time too, and that padded his stats a bit.
English

@aubrey_huff While Ryan is the most dominate pitcher of all time, he’s not the top pitcher. If you don’t take steroids into account Roger Clemens had a much better total career.
English

@HayesHolly2 I have a Concept 2 and haven’t touched it in years. Good for you for getting on it.
English

Hunter Brown 7th after a Top 3 Cy Young finish last year, and giving up 1 run in his first 2 starts this year, feels a bit disrespectful.
