@DuchessSexpert Start by looking at median, not average. Here in this small town, a friend just found an entire complex with 1-bed studios for $650/months, utilities and internet included. There are $$1.4K/month places, but those are luxury apts adjacent to the college campus or downtown.

@dr_cellini I might call a decision to discharge based on negative imaging an actionable finding, but apparently the study authors disagree with me.

Most interesting part of this article: ED physicians ordered the fewest number of CTA scans during the study period at 11%, followed by resident physicians 23% and nonphysician providers 67%. We’ve known this to be an issue for quite some time…

@kidney_boy Do people really travel with something other than Advil and Tylenol? Or maybe some Tums? Ok I might have a few melatonins too. But other stuff? What do people take?

‽ is called an 'interrobang.' It is designed for use at the end of an exclamatory rhetorical question. interro = interrogation point (the technical name for the question mark) bang = printers' slang for the exclamation point. Are you brave enough to use one in an email ‽‽

Vinay Prasad: we need more RCTs to prove masks, vaccines are safe for kids. Until then don’t use them. People who criticize my position are silencing me. Also Vinay: despite CTE & other risks, football is definitely safe for kids to play. Anyone who says otherwise should STFU.

There is a “little free library” stand a couple doors down from me that doesn’t have books, but Narcan. One guy just walked by barely able to hold onto the amount he took. Yet the “library” is always filled up. This is saving lives. Thank you to @MonroeHealth.

Bottom line: To this day, there is no solid evidence polio was ever a virus and vaccines only work against viruses. So it isn't surprising that the vaccine likely did nothing. But the evidence is very clear (above) that the Gates intervention crippled nearly 500,000 kids in India.
