When you 'buy' a subnet token using TAO, is that staking or trading? It's staking. You stake $TAO. You get a Subnet Token as a kind of 'coat check'. Now here's the clincher: IF that Subnet gets deregistered for poor performance, the subnet tokens *in your wallet* get remote-liquidated ALSO: you get TAO back (not much -- pennies on the dollar, since the subnet failed). Nothing you can do. It just happens. You wake up, your subnet tokens are gone, and a little bit of TAO that wasn't there before has appeared. Traded tokens don't get remote-liquidated. Coat-check tokens for staked $TAO do. That's what's different here.
