@abbott567 @timpaul Hey Craig, from the research it was never meant to be inconspicuous - we learned from SMEs that it needed to be highly ‘visible’ to ensure people could access it easily. Was chatting to @Jenny_G303 earlier about this!

@timpaul I remember seeing this being developed on Child Maintenance, and the red was almost too eye catching, which in some cases lowered the inconspicuousness it was intended to achieve. Was that ever addressed? I’m was fascinated by this component so would love to read any research.

My NZ-based sister set up her own business so I designed and built a simple brochureware site. Sister: “mother was very impressed with the site and how clean it was” Me: “this is my job! and I’m very good at it…” My work on GOV.UK does not translate abroad 😭
