@Enterprise as an update, i talked to michelle in twitter dms. i was informed the charge is “damage deductible” but cannot provide evidence of damage in any amount & has elevated this issue to management! just a truly repulsive corporation this is unbelievable.

had a very uneventful 2 day car rental in france that returned on july 5th. $547, happy to pay it.
woke up 9 days after return to a $3,439 pending charge (no notice). hours across 4 phone calls today and never got an explanation.

Why have stolen bases flatlined? ✔️ Pitchers better limiting leads ✔️ Catcher throwing more emphasized ✔️ WAR doesn't reward them Now that WAR is the aim, it's unlikely we'll ever see teams/players value steals as much as fans do.

As someone that is in constant communication with Matt throughout each draft for well over a decade I can emphatically say that Matt does not always like the Braves draft

Fell asleep right as draft ended but one comment I’ve seen is I always give A grade for Braves draft. I was very critical of things 2019(badly wanted Corbin Carroll/Espino pair in 1st), 2020, and 2021 drafts. Also had real questions in 2023. No A’s in 4 of those last 7 classes

@ryan05foster If I had to guess I would have gone A- last year. I was higher on Southisene than most and specifically named Essenburg and Dixon as guys I wanted them to take. Only reason it wasn’t higher is things kinda slowed down before the 2nd half of the draft

If I had to grade this draft I’m going with an A. They might not have landed a true Top 10 elite talent, but restocked system well
