@ryanammenheuser @axiochrono Rowling studied French and is a known Francophile, that's why only Hogwarts and Beauxbatons make sense and are truly fleshed out while Durmstrang is the silliest mix of German/Scandinavian/Eastern European and Balkan witchcraft, and also generally just the "evil" school. 😂

The thing that baffles me most about this map is that there was literally no point. JKR could have just said "every country has its own wizard school" and left it at that. No one would have questioned that.

@perksofbeingHC I’ve said for some time that the show’s biggest issue right now is that there’s a pretty widely understood moral code now. People come in with the expectation that they may be blindsided at any time, because they themselves intend to do so. So nobody really takes betrayal hard.

Call me old school I guess bc, as much as I like Christian, I’m so glad Ozzy gave it to him for blindsiding him. People on #Survivor make it way too easy for people to clown on them consequence free. The game is so much more interesting when blindsides have social consequences

@DrewSav Mitt Romney only BARELY lost Elliot County after over 100 years of D voting. After every other demographically similar county went hardcore GOP years prior.
