I decided to start building out loud and sharing the daily process here on 𝕏 in 2025. Here are the main themes I want to focus on: 1. Run more miles (including winter running) 2. Continue training in the gym with my son 3. Share BTS on sales leadership in tech 4. Start a boring business (more to come) 5. Encourage others to be intentional in their faith 6. More creative pursuits (i.e. sharing videos here on 𝕏) 7. Read more books, share more learnings I want to show up everyday and help others along the way. I’ve found the best way to do this (in the past) is to document and collaborate. Follow along and let’s build the future together.

Where are my lifters who enjoy running?

@Brady_H Oh yeah, no doubt. Grew up in the gym my whole life, dad was a bodybuilder and brother in NFL, but I’d give up the gym to run 25-30 miles a week if I had to pick one. And I only started around 2021.

People can rip on endurance running all they want. But the sport is having a renaissance. Marathons are more popular than ever. Guys who lift are starting to run and enjoying it more than lifting. Bullish on running.

@homegymcoop Hey Cooper, Any suggestions for spotter arms for the PC-1 Rack? Because the rack is 2.5 x 2.5, you can't just use any attachment. I haven't had any luck finding any and the BalanceFrom arms are always out of stock at Walmart.

I'm lifting weights yesterday. Incline bench. A girl walks by wearing close to nothing. Probably 25 years old. Butt cheeks hanging out, see thru shirt. Like I'm fine with whatever most people want to do, but this was ON PURPOSE for attention. Spandex "shorts" that were closer to a thong than shorts & a completely see thru shirt with no bra....... I'm listening to a sermon while I lift as she walks by. I said a quick prayer for her & made it a point to not look over once. I prayed God would continue to help me view all women as HIS CHILDREN. I prayed no one would give her attention & a seed would be planted that she is worth more than this. I thought about saying something, but tbh I assumed she was filming & wanting some kind of reaction. I would guess 95% of men want zero part of this at the gym. Made me really sad. Can't fathom how sad I would be if my daughter ever did something like this.....

So much of finding success in business is simply doing the uncomfortable shit nobody likes to do.

It all comes down to being a good human and leaving people better than you found them. Easier said than done because it takes our most valuable asset and we cannot get it back….time.

Late night gym session with my “little” guy. One of my non-negotiables in 2025 is spending time in the gym with my boy. This kid has grow 2 inches, 25 pounds and a shoe size in less than 3 months. Beast.

Having built and led enterprise and strategic teams from the ground up for tech startups, I can say selling upmarket is tough sledding for sure. Not impossible but in my opinion you need 3 things to make a successful push: 1. A product that does what you say it will do (product market fit). 2. A team of sellers who have sold product upmarket when no one knew what their company did (high EQ and even greater willingness to put in the hours necessary every single day to make it work….i.e. failure is not an option). 3. A technical/presales team that is obsessed with helping you win customers above all else and don’t turn every customer call into a “let’s see who has a bigger sword” conversation. Without all three of these, you have a better chance going up 💩’s creek without a paddle. IMHO.
