@ryanmiville @raycast thanks people are too conditioned to what they've heard about web-based apps most of them are pretty poor, it's true but there are many native apps that are as bad if not worse i just wish ppl would separate the tech from the quality

@zeddotdev Started using terminal threads today and it unlocked a whole new workflow (multi workspaces and worktrees). It's awesome. Now... if we can get a hook so terminal agents (pi) can add a badge when it's done 🔥

@badlogicgames Opus is so bad about committing and pushing, I had to (ask pi to) make an extension to catch when it tries to do it and get permission first.

such adherence, feeling the AGI. guess opus 4.7 will not become part of my list of models to use for coding tasks. this was a trivial task and it fucked up basically all steps.

@thdxr I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. I've been critical of Anthropic's decisions lately, but I don't see why people are mad at them here.

the concept of boring conflict resolution seems dead 1. anthropic didn't like how the govt used their stuff - that is ok 2. govt doesn't want constraints - that is ok they should just go their separate ways, this whole punishing them for the conflict thing is unnecessary

last week was my first week at @anomalyco / @opencode the team moves so fast, but at the same time everyone is obsessed with a high quality product, which requires high quality code. it's great to work a team that values that first time I'm starting a job with AI available, but I'm not going to just tell it to change things. it's a great tool for understanding a complex codebase but I'm not going to fully leverage it until I understand the impact of changes it's making, and that'll take a bit. still, it's a 10x in terms of ramping up, hoping to land some big things within weeks something I'm obsessed with how to maintain a high quality experiences, especially with AI in the mix. I've got some ideas inspired by property-based testing that I'm determined to execute on, I think this kind of product has a lot of potential with it. I want to write about it as I work on it. very excited to be here!
