Every church library and Christian family should consider watching these wonderful documentaries on missionaries who devoted their lives to the Great Commission:

My reflections on 2025 SBC convention in Dallas just dropped at @BaptistLeaders
"There are four main groups in the SBC:
1) the Platform,
2) the Reformers,
3) the Loyalists, and
4) the Normies.
All four groups have their own agendas, which guide their actions."

@M_Y_Emerson It’s wild to me too. I ran in to vote on the ERLC issue and tons of people were just hanging out in the hallways. I think a lot of people just view it as an opportunity to catch up with old friends and network. There is far too much at stake for that.

Nearly 100 council members of the Baptist Union voted to censure Charles Spurgeon during the downgrade controversy of 1887-1888 and only 5 stood with him.
The vote for the compromised doctrinal statement went 2000-7 against Spurgeon.
Thankful for Jack Graham standing almost alone among the past SBC presidents concerning the compromise in the ERLC. I agree with him when he states: "I do not support the ERLC and believe the organization has been the single most divisive entity of the SBC since the days of Russell Moore. I believe it should be de funded."

@JoshBuice Luther’s commentary on Galatians was formative for me many years ago.

My daughter turned sixteen in July, she didn’t want a new car or tickets to Taylor Swift. She wanted to go to this event. Thanks @conservmillen for giving young Christian women a role model and for speaking truth. Praying for fruit.

Franklin, TN (one of the wealthiest zip codes in TN, suburb of Nashville) is where all the evil in Evangelicalism congregates... These guys, David French, Brent Leatherwood all dwell there.
It's like a viper's nest... if vipers lived in McMansions.

After poisoning evangelical churches with leftist teachings, the place you apparently wind up afterwards is Immanuel in Nashville.

Gavin Ortlund believes the earth is hundreds of millions of years old, believes in a localized flood, believes in man made climate change, and believes taking the Covid 19 vaccine was the only way for Christians to responsibly love their neighbor.
Mainstream evanjellyfish that ought not be listened to.

One again grateful to @DrPaulChitwood for his bold and clear presentation of the gospel last night. Calling students out of darkness and into the light by telling them the truth. Thankful for leaders like Paul in our convention of churches.
