Just to put things into perspective
- This is our first loss in cup games all season.
- This is our fourth loss all season. We are in March.
- We are still 9 points ahead of City with just 7 games to go.
Don’t let one bad performance and result change the fact we are very very close to achieve something special this season.
Use this loss as a fuel to win the rest of the games.

Liverpool can still turn this tie around at Anfield, but this was another awful performance from a side that, in theory, should be improving towards the end of a 'transition season'. When Richard Hughes does his totting up this summer, this game will surely be hard to forget.

The substitution Rule 3.d) of the Ryder Cup Captains’ Agreement requires each Team Captain to provide the name of one player, in the sealed envelope, who will not play in the case of an injury to a member of the other team. The USA Team player is Harris English and under the Ryder Cup Captains’ Agreement the Match between Viktor Hovland and Harris English is treated as tied.

The Ryder Cup is expected to generate $160 Million in economic activity this year on Long Island. The PGA of America will make between $50-70 million. $3.9 million of the American teams money will be donated to charity. Why do we act like paying these guys $200,000 for the week is a bad thing or will make them play any less hard? Save me the fake outrage or moral high ground, give them a stipend for the week and let’s enjoy one of the greatest sporting events that we have.
