Today in Budapest, Hungarian authorities took seven Ukrainian citizens hostage. The reasons are still unknown, as well as their current well-being, or the possibility of contacting them. These seven Ukrainians are employees of state-owned Oschadbank, who were operating two bank cars transiting between Austria and Ukraine and carrying cash as part of regular services between state banks. In fact, we are talking about Hungary taking hostages and stealing money. If this is the “force” announced earlier today by Mr Orban, then this is a force of a criminal gang. This is state terrorism and racketeering. We have already sent an official note demanding an immediate release of our citizens. We will also address the European Union with the request to provide a clear qualification of Hungary’s unlawful actions, hostage-taking, and robbery. While Ukraine is still under Russian bombardment, Russia is welcomed with an official pavilion at the Venice Biennale, one of the world’s most important international contemporary art exhibitions. The project is even linked to the daughter of a senior executive at Rostec, a sanctioned Russian state-owned defence company, and to the daughter of Foreign Minister Lavrov. Culture must build bridges, but it must never become a stage for regimes waging war against European values. After the Milan–Cortina Paralympics affair, the Meloni government cannot remain silent while propaganda gains further legitimacy in Europe.

Tomorrow, many of you will think of Ukraine. As Ukraine faces pressure to accept capitulation, remember: there will be no peace without justice. We owe justice to every innocent life taken by russia's war. For every fallen defender. For every murdered civilian. For Mariupol. For the bombing of the Drama Theater. For the Bucha massacre. For the mass graves in Izyum. For Kherson and the human safaris. For the destruction of the Kakhovka dam. For the playground bombing in Kryvyi Rih. For nuclear terrorism at the Zaporizhzhia power plant. For Pokrovsk, Avdiivka, Bakhmut, Volnovakha, Popasna, Maryinka, Lysychansk, Vovchansk — and hundreds of towns and villages erased from the map forever. For freezing Ukrainians in winter and killing energy workers. For every double tap against first responders. For murdering doctors, targeting ambulances, bombing hospitals. For Kyiv's Okhmatdyt. For every civilian bus, car, bike deliberately struck. For every child abducted. For every prisoner of war tortured, injured, or killed in captivity. For every woman, man, and child raped. For every person buried beneath the rubble of their home. For every torture chamber under occupation. For every filtration camp. For the indoctrination of Ukrainian children. For looted Ukrainian culture. For destroying Ukrainian farmland and stealing Ukrainian grain. For confiscating property under occupation. For countless other crimes that continue as we speak. There will be no real peace without justice. Never.

The Trump Administration is doing way too little to help Ukraine. We should be sending more long-range precision weapons and more air defenses. The Biden Administration would send too little, too late. But, that was better than now.

Hey @sethmeyers — I don’t know who wrote this line for you, but it sounds deeply ignorant and embarrassing. Odesa is a Ukrainian city that Russia has been relentlessly attacking for four years, killing civilians and destroying its heritage. Do better.

There’s no difference between this 👇 and 9/11. Both are terrorist attacks.

It was an honour last month to produce & moderate another panel of friends @btcplusplus: “Scaling Lightning” @callebtc @brian_trollz @evankaloudis @_AlexLewin @RytaDeCrypt Splicing in @dusty_daemon and swapping for @michael1011at (thanks @Boltzhq)

Russia killed 26 people in Ternopil, including 3 children. 73 people and 15 children were injured. Instead, Trump's plan is a complete surrender of Ukraine and a reward for the aggressor-terrorist.
